KC Makeup 101 Master Class at the HELEN MILLS Theater

Celebrity makeup artist, image and skin care consultant, Karuna Chani, held her Makeup 101 Master Class at the HELEN MILLS Theater. The workshop focused on educating women in the Indian and South Asian Communities to "love their beauty, enhance their beauty and reap the 'confidence' rewards." Topics included finding the right foundation for your skin tone, highlighting and contouring techniques, and creating a professional look.

Celebrity Makeup Artist Mario Dedivanovic's Master Class features kim kardashian

Celebrity makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic held two master classes at the HELEN MILLS Theater, offering aspiring makeup artists a behind the scenes look into his work and techniques. Mario has worked with a number of high profile clients including Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, and of course Kim Kardashian, who appeared as a surprise model for the second master class.

Dress for Success Pop-Up Shop: Accessories Edition

Dress for Success (DFS) hosted its fourth annual “Shop for Success” benefit this October at HELEN MILLS. DFS transformed the room into a pop-up store featuring shoes, bags, jewelry, and other accessories. In addition to raising money for a great cause, DFS did a great job of getting the details right for the event. Take a look below for photos:

DFS kicked off its three-day event with a VIP reception. Attendees could pre-shop the sale while sipping on specialty cocktails sponsored by Malibu.

The pop-up store featured products donated by a number of top-tier designers including Gucci, Coach, and Marc Jacobs.

DFS created a stylish outfitting lounge area where shoppers could try on shoes and accessories.

Tia Cibani Spring / Summer 2015 Fashion Presentation

Kicking off last week's shows at HELEN MILLS, Designer Tia Cibani showed her NYFW Spring / Summer 2015 Collection. The September 3rd show featured not only a gorgeous and well-received collection, but also a beautifully executed set. The looks were inspired by "1970s exoticism and North African Tuareg craft," according to the program, and featured "spice colors of Saffron, Anise, Tuurmeric, Cumin and Cayenne." Past Fashion Show Client Featured on QVC!

Exciting news from past client and Project Runway Runner-up Korto Momolu! Korto's dress design (below) was recently chosen by QVC host and Project Runway All Stars Judge Lisa Robertson to be sold on QVC! The following is an excerpt from her interview on QVC - read more here.

Creating clothes has always been my dream, but designing for women of all sizes [is] my passion. I designed [the dress for the QVC challenge] with all the frills and thrills a woman wants in mind, but also making sure she feels amazing, sexy, and most importantly, beautiful when she puts it on.
